Entry from: Lisbon, Portugal Entry Title: "Lisbon and Sintra" Entry: "One of the places i missed last year and i really wanted to go since i am pretty close this year is Portugal. I originally planned to go to Portugal with Anaiz, and as we talked about it we turned it into a roommate trip. It ended up that we were 7: Me, Anaiz, Hugo, Cynthia, Esteban, Pau, and Flor (Esteban's friend). Our flight was at 8am, so it was an early morning. We arrived in Lisbon at 8.50 (there is a 1hr time difference). We decided to take a bus to the city center to find our hostel, even though i opted for the taxi. the bus was crowded and there was a little confrontation with a ghetto white guy and a bunch of older women. the screaming lasted about 10 minutes and was an interesting start to Portugal. We arrived in an main square near our hostel and bought a sightseeing bus tour. then we walked to our hostel to check in. The hostel was amazing. it was pretty small, and family run. over the 2 days we were there, they knew our names, and it was a very clean and friendly atmosphere. we had a room with 3 bunkbeds, and they added an extra bed so all 7 of us were together. we relaxed for a few minutes. paid for the hostel and then went out to find food. we found a nearby little restaurant were we ate at the bar, without seats ...
